Billa 2 Is A Very Serious Film – Chakri Toleti

Billa 2′s director Chakri Toleti said that Billa 2 is a very serious film and hence there was no room for comedy. The director was asked why the film has no comedian in the star cast to which he replied that comedy would not suit Billa 2′s script and hence he decided to dispense with it . So for now we have to be satisfied with the news that Billa 2 will be a serious film. The film is yet to be censored and the filmmakers are expected to announce the release date soon.  

Ajith's advice to Arun Vijay

Arun Vijay's Thadayara Thakka is doing good now. Ajith, who is awaiting the release of his biggie 'Billa-2' is said to have watched the movie recently and importantly provided a few tips on acting to Arun.   Ajith is said to have asked Arun to consider doing negative roles. Sources saidAjith advised Arun to take up negative roles as they would provide his career a good boost in terms of performance.   On his part, Arun is reportedly reading scripts these days and will make an announcement about his next movie soon.

Actress Parvathy Omanakuttan role in billa 2

  Parvathy Omanakuttan is keeping her fingers crossed, even as her debut Tamil flick 'Billa 2′ is getting ready to hit the screens. "It is a memorable role and I must thank Ajith and director Chakri Toleti for their cooperation," she says. The beauty queen turned actress plays performance oriented role in this prequel to 'Billa'. "I play Jasmine, who is the love interest of Billa. I am part of many romantic scenes and of course, some action scenes," she says. Heaping praises on Ajith, she says, "He never goes to the caravan after the shot is over. He will ensure that everyone on the sets feel comfortable. He would personally prepare tea and serve it to all. Such a down to earth person he is." Produced by In Entertainment in association with Wide Angle Creations, 'Billa 2′ will see the light of the day very soon. It is being released all over Tamil Nadu by V Ravichandran of Aascar Films.  

Actor Mahesh Manjrekar is Ajith’s enemy!

Top Bollywood writer, director and actor Mahesh Manjrekar has been cast as the main villain in Ajith's untitled film directed by Vishnuvardhan for producer AM Ratnam. The Maharashtrian Mahesh Manjrekar as a director shined in films like Vaastav,Astitva and Viruddh. As a villain he created a ruckus in films like the recent Salman Khan hit Bodyguard and who can forget his mean character in Slumdog Millionaire? Vishnuvardhan starrer shoot starts in Mumbai from June 2. The multi starrer has Ajith, Arya, Nayanthara and Taapsee in the lead with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Mahesh Manjrekar plays the pivotal villain's role in the film.  

Director Shankar watches Billa 2

A special screening of Billa 2 was arranged for director Shankar recently. Distributed by Aascar Films, Billa 2 is close to completion and will be ready to be released in the month of September. The special screening also was attended by director Chakri Toleti and Aascar Ravichandran. A clearly impressed Shankar was seen congratulating Chakri for his feat after the movie's screening. He also extolled Ravichandran for making the right choice, according to sources present at the event. With Ajith, Parvathy Omanakuttan and Bruna Abdullah in the lead, Billa 2′s audio release is expected soon.  

Post-production work for Billa 2 in full swing

The eagerly awaited Ajit starrer Billa 2 is in post-production work in Mumbai. The producer of the film In Entertainment`s Sunir Kheterpal and director Chakri Toleti are more comfortable and at home working from their home base in Mumbai. The post-production work is going on in full swing so that it can be censored before May 31. Chakri Toleti is working round the clock with the post production and is giving utmost care to the DI, sound, design, VFX and the editing of the film. The buzz is that the music director of the film, Yuvan Shankar Raja is also present in Mumbai and is doing the re-recording work. A new trailer including song clippings are also getting ready to be unveiled a week before release. With the buzz around Billa 2 only increasing each day, the unit is bent on putting their best foot forward.
