Something that is running on discussions is that Sivaji Productions is likely to produce P. Vasu’s Tamil version of ‘Chandramukhi-2’. P. Vasu has been persistently rocking on top with the continuous remakes of ‘Chandramukhi’ and its sequel. The first part ‘Aaptha Mithra’ was a stupendous blockbuster starring Late actors Vishnuvardhan and Soundarya in lead roles. The remake version in Tamil ‘Chandramukhi’ starring Superstar Rajnikanth, Prabhu and Jyothika had a run of 834days setting record-break history. The dubbed version in Telugu was indeed a big hit. Nearly after 5 years, P. Vasu successfully made the sequel in Kannada as ‘Aaptha Rakshaka’ that witnessed same results. The recently released Telugu version ‘Nagavalli’ with Venkatesh, Anushka, and Kamalini Mukherji in lead roles has witnessed good results. The latest buzz is that Sivaji Productions and P. Sivaji Productions big budget action adventure Ajit’s Asal, directed by Saran has started its dubbing at Four Frames studio. Producer Ram Kumar wanted the dubbing for the film which is almost 90 percent complete to start on Wednesday (Nov 18), a very auspicious day. The young guns in Sivaji Production producer Ram Kumar and his brother Prabhu’s children- Dushyant and Arjun are in charge of the entire production of Asal. Says Ram Kumar: “These kids are doing great job, precise and professional, they have wrapped up almost the entire shoot on schedule. We are planning to release the film in January.” Once the dubbing finishes, Saran plans to finish the shoot of two songs for the film one to be shot in a foreign location and the other on a set erected in a Chennai studio. It will be Ajit’s biggest ever movie.
