Click here to view remaining Images Ajithkumar’s 50th film Mangatha to be directed by Venkat Prabhu commenced on 2nd August with a somber pooja at A V M Rajeswari studios, Chennai. Coincidentally, Ajith entered filmdom on August 2nd eighteen years ago. This golden jubilee film of Ajith is being produced by Dhayanidhi Azhagiri for Cloud Nine films. While talking about Mangatha, director Venkat Prabhu says, “I am glad to start Mangatha on this auspicious day wherein Ajith began his filmi journey 18 years back. We are shooting the trailer of the film which will be screened in theatres soon.” He went on to add that Mangatha will be a 2011 summer bonanza. The heroine of the film is yet to be finalized. Telugu star Nagarjuna is playing an important role in Mangatha and along with Premji Amaran, there would be a newcomer by name Mahath.
