Mangaatha Is Ajith’s 50th film?

For some time now there was confusion about who would direct Ajith’s 50th film.Earlier, Gowtham Menon was supposed to wield the megaphone for this film, which is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions.Now we hear that Gowtham Menon has walked out of the film due to other projects. It’s not clear if they have dropped the project or if it is likely to happen in future. As far as the 50th film is concerned, Venkat Prabhu will direct it. The film is tentatively titled ‘Mangaatha’ and will be a multi-starrer. Venkat Prabhu is currently holding talks with a Tollywood superstar for playing another lead role. Venkat Prabhu’s cousin Yuvan Shankar Raja willscore the music while Sakthi Saravanan is expected to handle the camera. As of now, Venkat Prabhu is in Hyderabad, discussing the script with few actors and official confirmations pertaining to his project will be made shortly as the producers plan to commence the shooting by the first week of August.

When everybody in tinsel town is awaitingthe official confirmations of Ajith Kumar’s 50th film, there happens to be a sort of perplexed scenarios amongst the team. Here comes an unconfirmed buzz that Gowtham Menon may not director Ajith Kumar’s 50th film while Venkat Prabhu is likely to bag the offer. Apart from this film, Ajith Kumar seems to have been holding discussions with Sivaji Productions for a film that will be made simultaneously in Chennai. IF what we heard from the closer sources is believed to be true, the film will be directed by none other than ‘Billa’ fame Vishnuvardhan. At the moment, Gowtham Menon remains unavailable for the comments as he is busy preparing himself for the enxt bilingual movie with Rana and Samantha in lead roles.

The Kumbabishekam at the Varasidhi Vinayagar Koil situated at Annai Illam, the residence of Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan, was performed in all religious fervor today (June 17) morning between 7 am and 9am. All the close family members participated in the rituals. A large number of friends and relatives of Sivaji-Prabu-Ramkumar family participated in the rituals. Super Star Rajinikanth was a special invitee for the function. The fastest man in Tamil cinema Ajith made a charismatic appearance at the event. Others from the film world included Vijayakumar, Manjula, Arun Vijay, Manorama, Raja, Thiyagu among others.

Kavalkaran Vs Kaval

Vijay's 51st film Kavalkaran Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s 51st movie has been titled as Kavalkaran . The movie is the tamil remake of Malayalam movie Body Guard. Directed by Siddique , Kavalkaran features Vijay and Asin in the lead roles. Vijay will play the role done by Dileep while Asin is going to do Nayanthara ’s role in the Malayalam original. Director Siddique has made some minor changes in the Tamil version to suit Vijay’s style. It is well known that the long time speculations on Ajith’s new project with Gautham Menon had been washed out and confirmed that it will be soon going on floors.We had some hot and interesting news about the film. The movie will have Ajith playing the double role – one is that of a cop and the other playing a villain. So, it is expected to be an action and cop based movie. Ajith Fans Association sends a warning circular!

The head quarters of Ajith Fans Association has recently sent a warning circular to none other than its own members on the controversial celebrations of Ajith's birthday on April 25. A news has said that some ardent fans groups are apparently had organized celebrations of Ajith's birthday on April 25 in association with some television channels where as Ajith’s real birthday falls on May 1. According to Suresh Chandra, the manager and also the i charger for fan clubs says, "The association doesn’t approve these plans of Ajith fans to celebrate their matinee idol’s birth day on April 25". He further warns the fans saying this kind of acts are against the interest of the association and its well being. He asked the fans to stop all the arrangements planned and wait for further official announcements after consulting with Ajith who is in Europe.
