The producers of Billa-2 have started striking gold with the profit box much prior to its release. Recently, there was news that the satellite rights of the film has been sold out for Rs 6.5Crores (approximately). The latest news is about the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights that have been acquired by Aascar Ravichandran of Aascar International for a whooping amount. It is worth mentioning that Aascar Ravichandran had earlier produced Ajith Kumar's Poovellam Un Vaasam that was directed by Ezhil. Aascar's previous release Velayudham had spanned good profit in box office.  

'Billa 2' is a mega budget flick featuring Ajith Kumar, Parvathy Omanakuttan, Bruna Abdullah and many others. The Music is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. It is directed by Chakri Toleti. As 'Billa 2' is becoming a huge sensation, the makers have decided to release a special calender of this film. As this movie features 2 high profile models-cum-glamour queens, the makers decided to use this opportunity and make a special calender. These pictures for this calender were shot in Goa. The images of Parvathy in Bikini in the calender, does not have anything to do with her character in this film. The shooting for Billa 2 is complete. For the climax scenes, shot in Georgia, Ajithperformed some breathtaking action sequences hanging from a helicopter.   A 36-member crew travelled to Georgia to can several scenes, including the climax.    For an elaborate action sequence, the actor had to hang from a chopper in mid-air and he chose to do it without a double, says a source. The actor, however, did not pilot the helicopter.   Ajith, Parvathy Ommanakuttan come together for the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja has scored the music while the flick is directed by Chakri Toleti.

The latest buzz doing rounds is that Venkat Prabhu and Ajith will team up for another movie after a success in Mankatha. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the popular music composer who shares a great rapport with Ajith and Venkat Prabhu, will don the avatar of producer for the film. Ajith is busy with the release of Billa 2 and is soon expected to join hands with Vishnuvardhan. The Venkat Prabhu project is likely to take off after that.
